The vessels are the seventh and eighth VLECs in Pacific Gas' fleet. Both vessels are of Jiangnan's "Panda" series design, fitted with ethane dual-fuel engines and the BrilliancE B-type cargo containment system. The design achieves zero sulphur oxide emissions and offers significant reductions in nitrogen oxides, which complies with the latest global environmental regulations while delivering outstanding operational efficiency.

Pacific Gas pioneered the construction of the world's first Type-B VLEC in 2019 through a collaboration with Jiangnan Shipyard and INEOS Group. The company now has 18 vessels of this type on order, commanding approximately 20% of global VLEC capacity. With its expanding fleet offering an annual transport capacity of 3 million tonnes, Pacific Gas has established itself as a backbone of global seaborne ethane trade, providing both critical support and a benchmark for energy supply chain stability.
